Gift Vision

Gift Vision is right at Ajaramar Chowk, which is a pretty well-known spot on New Rander Road. We are directly opposite the Amidhara Wadi. It’s a lively corner to be on. There’s always something happening outside, whether it’s a wedding procession at the wadi or just the usual evening rush. I spend my time here unpacking boxes of new items and trying to find a place for them on the shelves. The shop is full of all sorts of things, from small trinkets to bigger items for the home. It’s not a perfectly organized place. Sometimes things get shuffled around and I have to hunt for them when someone asks. I’ve been running this place for a good while now. I like the neighborhood feel of this part of town. People stop in just to say hello even if they aren't buying anything. We have a small fan that stays on all day to keep the air moving. The floor is tile and I spend more time sweeping it than I’d like to admit because of the dust from the road. It’s a simple business. We open up in the morning, do our work, and close up when it gets late. There’s no big philosophy behind it. We just provide a place for people to pick up a gift when they are passing through the chowk and need something.
