Vishal Provision Stores

We've been here at the KPN Extension for a while now. Running a provision store keeps us on our feet all day. You find us up on the first floor, right near the corner of 2nd Main and 2nd Cross. It’s a busy spot in Bangalore. Every morning we open up and start checking what’s left on the shelves. Dal, rice, soap, and all those small things people need for their kitchens are what we mostly keep. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded with the boxes coming in from the suppliers, but we manage to find a place for everything. My family helps out quite a bit around here. We know most of the people who walk through the door by their first names because they live just a few streets away. It isn't a fancy place at all. Just a regular shop where you can get your daily supplies without any fuss. The stairs can be a bit of a climb if you're carrying heavy bags, but we try to help out when we can. We do our best to keep everything stocked so nobody has to go elsewhere for their basic needs. It’s mostly just us working through the day, making sure the jars are full and the floor is swept. Sometimes the delivery trucks are late and it's a bit of a headache, but that’s just how it goes in this business. We like being part of the neighborhood here. It feels like home to us.
