You can find us over at Nawabwadi 2nd A Cross on JC Nagar Pipeline Road. The shop is filled with all sorts of things for the kitchen, from big pressure cookers to tiny spoons and spice boxes. It’s a lot of metal and plastic everywhere you look. We spend our mornings unboxing new stock and trying to fit it onto the shelves, which are already pretty full. The street outside is usually busy with people moving around, so there’s always some noise coming in. We keep a lot of different brands and sizes because everyone wants something specific for their stove at home. Some days it’s quiet and we just spend time cleaning the dust off the displays. Other days it gets crowded and we’re moving around trying to help three people at once find the right lid for a pot they bought years ago. The address is 11/390 and it’s been that way for a good while. V 2 Kitchenware is what the sign says above the entrance. We don’t have any fancy displays or bright lights, just the regular tubes that we flip on when we open up. It’s a practical place for people who actually cook and need tools that work. Sometimes we lose track of a specific item in the back, but we usually find it after a bit of searching. It feels like a neighborhood spot because most of our visitors live just a few streets away.
