Amratlal & Company

We have been running Amratlal & Company from our spot at 201 Nanpura Amboli in the Ruchita Apartment for quite a few years now. It is a bit of a busy area around here but we have gotten used to the noise over time. Our office is not very big, just a simple space with a couple of desks and some old filing cabinets that have been with us since the start. People sometimes have a little trouble finding the right door in the apartment building because the signs aren't very big, but once you find us, it is just a normal working environment. I spend most of my mornings here dealing with whatever paperwork comes in. We don't really do anything fancy or have any high-tech gadgets lying around. It is just a place where we sit and get our daily tasks done. Sometimes the neighbors from the other apartments pop in just to say hello or ask a quick question. We usually keep the windows open to get a breeze, though that means a bit of dust comes in from the street. It is a very local way of doing things, I suppose. We do not have a big staff, just a few of us who know the routine well. By the time the afternoon sun hits the front of the building, we are usually thinking about having our tea. It is a steady life and we are happy to stay right here in Nanpura.
