Variety Store

The shop is located at Nanpura 204. It is called Variety Store. I’ve been working here for a long time now. Most days I get here pretty early to make sure everything is sorted out before the first person walks in. Nanpura is a very busy area so there is always something going on right outside the front door. We have a lot of different things on the shelves, mostly just stuff people need for their houses or daily life. I try to keep things organized but sometimes boxes end up sitting on the floor when a new delivery comes in. The space isn't huge, but it's enough for what we do. I usually have a cup of tea around eleven when things quiet down for a few minutes. If you walk past 204, you’ll probably see me sitting near the front of the store. I know most of the people who live nearby because they’ve been coming here for years and years. We talk about the weather or how the local roads are getting way too crowded lately. It’s a simple way to spend the day and it keeps me busy. The lights inside are a bit bright, but they help me see the smaller items in the back corners. I don't really have a big staff, just me and occasionally a cousin who helps move the heavier crates. I stay open until the sun goes down and then I lock up.
