Tulsi Kirana Store

Tulsi Kirana Store is located at Shop No 6 in the Amrutkunj Shopping Centre. We are on the Uma Bhavan Cross Road, which is just off Bhatar Road in Surat. This area is usually quite lively, and being in a shopping centre means we have neighbors who run all kinds of different businesses. We mainly deal with kirana items, the stuff you use every day in your house. The shop is filled with bags of grains and shelves of spices and snacks. It can get a little dusty with all the flour and grains being moved around, but we try to keep it as clean as we can. We don't have a corporate office or a big team of managers. It is just a few of us here every day, from the time we open the locks in the morning until we pull the shutters down at night. We have gotten to know the families in the Bhatar Road area over the years. We know who likes which brand of tea and who usually comes in on Saturdays for their bulk shopping. It is not a very complicated way to live, but it keeps us busy. Sometimes we make mistakes with the change or forget to put a new item on the shelf right away, but we always try to make it right. It’s just a normal shop for normal people who need their groceries.
