Suvidha Stores

Suvidha Stores is located on the National High School Road in Gopipura, right in the Visvesvarapuram area. It is a regular shop that sells all the basic things people need for their houses. We have been here for a while and the location near the school means we see a lot of students coming in for snacks or pens. The shelves are quite crowded because we try to fit in as much as we can. You might find soap next to some biscuits or notebooks near the light bulbs. It is a bit of a squeeze when more than three people come in at once. The National High School Road is usually busy with scooters and people walking. We keep the front door open to let some air in, though it brings in the noise too. Visvesvarapuram is a nice part of town with a lot of old houses. We know the regular customers who come in every morning for their milk or bread. I usually spend my time restocking the items that sold out the day before. The ledger is always sitting on the counter so I can keep track of things. It’s not a very modern place, just a simple neighborhood store. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we have to use a torch to find things for people. We just keep going regardless. It is just a small business trying to keep the shelves full for the Gopipura locals.
