Super Cement Product

Our place is in Guruwar Peth. We handle cement products, so things are always a bit gray and dusty around here. The address is pretty straightforward if you are familiar with this part of Surat. It’s a tough job, physically. Loading bags and moving concrete items takes a toll on the body. We have a yard where we keep the stock. When the sun is out, the heat reflects off the concrete and it gets really hot. We mostly work with local builders and guys doing small renovations at home. There’s no showroom here, just stacks of material and a small desk where I keep the receipts. I usually wear old clothes because there’s no point in trying to stay clean. Everything gets covered in a thin layer of dust within an hour anyway. We start early, usually before the traffic gets too bad. It’s noisy when the trucks are being loaded and the bags are hitting the flatbed. I’ve lived in this area my whole life, so I know most of the people who walk by. We don't do much advertising; people just know we are here in the Peth. It’s basic work, nothing fancy about it. We just provide the materials people need to build things. At the end of the day, I’m tired, but it’s a good kind of tired. We shut the gates and head home. We come back and do it again tomorrow morning.
