We are based out of Jal-Darshan Apartment, specifically 17/A, which is right across from the Vavol Bus-Stand in Gandhinagar. It’s a very convenient spot because of the bus stand, so there’s always something going on outside. The apartment building has a mix of offices and some residential spots, so it feels quite lived-in. Working for J K Lakshmi Cement Ltd here means we deal with a lot of local folks from the Gandhinagar district. The office isn't very large, but we’ve managed to fit all our desks and files in. Sometimes it gets a bit noisy with the buses pulling in and out across the street, but you get used to the sound after a week or two. We have a small balcony where we can see the main road. The weather in Gujarat can be quite dry, so we keep the fans going all day. Most of our work involves checking on shipments and talking to dealers who stop by after getting off the bus. It’s a practical setup, nothing too fancy or polished. We just have our routine and we stick to it. We know the shopkeepers downstairs and the tea guy knows exactly how we like our morning brew. It’s a humble place, but it serves us well for the work we do every day. We also help out anyone who comes in lost looking for the bus stop or local directions.
