Grasim Ind. Ltd.-Cement Div

Our office is in Flat 304 of Building 10 at Yogi Park Society. It is right near the Swaminarayan Mandir in Adajan, Surat. Since we are in a residential society, it feels a lot more like a home than a big corporate headquarters. We run the Grasim Ind. Ltd. Cement Division from here. It is a bit tight with all the files and the computer equipment, but we make it work. Surat is a fast city, but Adajan has its own pace. We spend a lot of time on the phone coordinating with the plants and the local distributors. We don't have a storefront, so most people find us through word of mouth or old contacts. Sometimes the neighbors come by to say hello. It is a practical way to run a division without all the extra noise. We have a small team and we all know each other well. There is no hierarchy or formal nonsense. We just get the tasks done and try to be out by evening. The temple nearby gives us a good landmark for people trying to find us. Working from a flat means we have to be organized, or the paper piles would take over. We don't offer anything fancy, just the standard work we have been doing for years. It’s a quiet life in a busy society.
