We set up shop at 174 Rookshmani Society over in the Punagam area of Surat. It’s a residential neighborhood, so it stays fairly quiet except for when the kids are coming home from school. Being in Gujarat, we are used to the busy pace of the city, but our little corner feels a bit more relaxed. The office is just a part of the house, really. We have some desks and chairs crammed into the front rooms. It’s not a big corporate space with glass walls. We have some plants by the window that we occasionally remember to water. Most of the people working here live close by, so we don't have long commutes to worry about. We spend our days handling paperwork and taking calls. Sometimes the internet is slow, and we end up sitting around talking until it comes back on. We aren't doing anything world-changing, just regular business tasks that keep things ticking along. We know our neighbors by name and often chat with them over the fence. There’s no dress code here, so you’ll see us in whatever is clean and comfortable. It’s a honest way to make a living. We don't have a big marketing team or anyone trying to sell you something you don't need. We just do our bit and go home. If you are in Punagam, you might see us walking to the local shop for snacks in the afternoon.
