We are over at Tirupati Plaza, right near the Bahumali building in Nanpura. It is a busy spot and we have been here for a while now. Most days it is just us sitting around the desks trying to figure out how to help local industries do things a bit better. We aren't a huge team, just enough people to keep the lights on and the phones ringing. Most of the time we are organizing workshops or just talking to factory owners who need some advice on getting more work done without wasting so much time. It gets hot in the afternoons but the tea guy comes by around three and that helps. Sometimes the office is a mess with papers from different projects we are running. People come in from all over the South Gujarat area. We don't have fancy decorations or anything. It’s just a practical workspace where we try to stay organized. If you are walking around Nanpura, you probably see the building easily. We have a lot of meetings, some go long, some are quick. We deal with a lot of numbers and charts because that is just what productivity work involves. It is not glamorous but it feels good when a local shop or a bigger plant actually improves after we spend some time with them. That is basically the whole story of what happens here on the third floor every day. We usually close up around six and head home.
