Shyam Gift & Jeweller

Our shop, Shyam Gift & Jeweller, is tucked away in the underground section of C 36 Kuber Nagar 1. It is right across from Mahavir Complex and near 42 New India House, which sits just off the main Lamington Road on Tribhuvan Road in Katargam. Being in an underground spot means it stays a bit cooler during the hot afternoons, which is nice for us and the customers. We have a mix of jewelry items and various gifts spread out across the counters. It’s not a massive place, so things are packed in pretty tight. We’ve got glass cases for the jewelry and shelves for the gifts. We spend a lot of time cleaning the glass because fingerprints get everywhere. Most of the people who find us are locals who live in the Kuber Nagar area or folks who know the neighborhood well. It is a bit of a maze around here with all the complexes, but we have been in this spot long enough that most people can point you our way. We don't go in for big marketing campaigns or anything like that. We just open up in the morning, dust the counters, and wait for people to stop by. Sometimes the lighting down here is a bit dim, but it gives the shop a quiet, calm feeling away from the street noise. We just do our work and help whoever walks through the door without much of a fuss.
