Shree Shantinath General Stores

Shree Shantinath General Stores is here in Limbayat. I get here early to open the shutters. It’s a bit dusty sometimes because of the road but we clean up. We keep a lot of different things, like soaps and pulses and small household items people need suddenly. My family helps out too. The shelves are getting old now but they hold everything we need. Most of our customers live right around the corner. They come in for a quick packet of biscuits or some oil. I know most of their names by now. Sometimes the delivery trucks are late and that makes things a bit messy in the back room. We don't have a big fancy sign or anything like that. Just the name on the board. It gets really crowded in the evenings when everyone is coming home from work. I try to keep things organized so people can find what they want without asking too many questions. If someone needs something we don't have, I usually try to get it for them by the next week. It’s just how we do things here. The light in the back flickers a bit but we are used to it. Limbayat is a busy place and we are just right in the middle of it all. Nothing too special, just a regular shop where you can get your daily stuff and head home. That’s about it for us really. We stay open until late.
