Shree Sai Crackers

We have been running Shree Sai Crackers out of Kamrej 2nd Cross Maruthi Nagar for a few seasons now. It is a small shop, mostly quiet except when the festivals come around. That is when everyone shows up at once. We keep the boxes stacked high against the walls. You have to be careful with the space because it is not very big. The shelves are full of different types of sparklers and ground spinners. My wife helps me keep the accounts while I handle the customers. Living in Maruthi Nagar is nice because the neighbors are friendly and they usually buy their stuff from us. We don't do any big marketing. Just a small board outside near the 2nd cross. Sometimes the rain makes things difficult because we have to keep everything dry. The floor is just concrete and we have one old fan that hums all day. It gets hot in Kamrej during the summer months. We mostly sit on plastic stools and wait for people to drop by. We are just a local family trying to make a living. Nothing complicated about it. We close the shutters tight every night. People know us by name around here. It is just Shree Sai Crackers, nothing more and nothing less. We keep it simple and just sell what people ask for when the time is right. We hope the kids enjoy the noise and colors we provide from our little corner.
