It’s a good spot because people are always walking between the different shops. Our place isn't very large, but we pack a lot into unit number seven. We have all kinds of novelties and gifts. I’ve noticed that people often stop by after they’ve been to the shopping center, just to see what else they can find. We don't have any fancy displays or bright lights. It's just shelves filled with items we think people might like. Every morning we open up and start the day by checking what sold the day before. It’s a lot of work keeping everything organized, especially with the gift articles because they come in all shapes and sizes. Sometimes it’s a bit messy, but that’s just how it goes when you have so much stock. We aren't trying to impress anyone with big talk. We just want to be a useful shop for the neighborhood. Varachha Road is a busy place to be, and we've gotten used to the constant sound of the street. It’s just home to us now. Most of the people who come in are just regular folks from around here looking for something simple. We’re happy to be here and plan on staying for a long time.
