We are located at Patel Chamber on Varachha Road under the name Shree Ram Novelty & Gift Article. It’s a straightforward kind of place. We have novelties and different gift articles stacked up. If you are walking through Patel Chamber, you’ll find us easily enough. We’ve been here long enough that most of the other shopkeepers know us. It’s a busy area and sometimes it feels like everyone is in a rush, but we try to keep things steady. We don't use any big words to describe what we do. It’s just a shop. I spend my time making sure the novelty items aren't getting dusty. People come in looking for small things, maybe a toy or a little decoration for their home. We don't have a huge staff or anything, usually just one or two of us here to help out. Some days are slower than others, which gives us time to reorganize. We don't really do much advertising because people just see us when they are out shopping for other things. It’s a practical way to run a business. We like being on Varachha Road because it’s the heart of the area. There is always someone walking by. We just keep the lights on and the doors open for whoever wants to take a look. It’s not a complicated setup, just a local spot for local people.
