Shree Bhanu Provision Stores

Our store is right there at Kamrej Char Rasta, number fifty-five. It’s a hectic intersection, honestly. There is always dust from the road and people shouting, but it’s where we are located. We sell mostly daily essentials like flour, pulses, and soaps. It’s not a big supermarket, just a local provision store for the neighborhood. My brother and I take turns sitting at the front counter. Sometimes we run out of things because the supplier is late, but that’s just how it goes here. The building is older, and the paint is peeling a bit near the ceiling. We don’t mind. It feels like home to us since we spend twelve hours a day here. People from the nearby neighborhoods stop by on their scooters. Sometimes they stay to chat for ten minutes, which slows down the line, but we don't tell them to leave. It gets hot in the afternoons, so we keep the fan running full speed. We’ve had the same regulars for years. They know where everything is, so they often just grab what they need and bring it to the counter. We keep a notebook for the accounts because some folks pay at the end of the month. It's a bit of an old-fashioned way to do things, I know. But it works for this area. We just want to keep the shelves full and the door open. That’s about it for us.
