Shree Aai Mata Kirana & General Store

Shree Aai Mata Kirana & General Store is our little shop at 16 Vatsalya Avenue on Bamroli Road in Dindoli. We are in the Shanti Nagar neighborhood of Surat, which is a place with many families. Our shop is where people come to get their regular kitchen supplies like spices, flour, and tea. We also keep some general stuff like soaps and cleaning supplies. The area has the 394210 pin code, and it’s grown a lot recently with new houses coming up. I spend most of my day at the counter, weighing out pulses and bagging them for customers. It’s a busy life, and the shop can get quite warm in the Surat summers. We don't have a big team or any corporate slogans. It’s just us doing our best to keep everything available for the people of Shanti Nagar. Sometimes we have to wait for the trucks to bring in new stock, and the shop looks a bit empty for a day, but we manage. I’ve lived in this part of Dindoli for a long time, so I’ve seen kids grow up and start coming in to buy things for their own homes. It’s a nice feeling to be part of the community like that. We don’t do anything fancy, just open the shutters every morning and serve whoever comes in. It’s a simple, honest way to live and work here in Surat.
