Sharda Provision & General Stores

Sharda Provision & General Stores is located in Pandesara 2. It’s a straightforward shop that sells a bit of everything you might need for the house. We have soaps, buckets, notebooks, and dry goods all mixed together on the shelves. It’s not the most organized place, but we know where every single item is kept. The mornings are usually the busiest time when everyone is rushing to get things before work. We spend a lot of time sweeping the front and making sure the displays look okay. The building itself is older and has its quirks, like a door that sticks in the rainy season. We don't have fancy lighting or air conditioning. It’s just a regular neighborhood store. We get our stock from a few different wholesalers who come by once a week. Sometimes we have to tell people we’re out of something because the shelf is empty. We don't use any complicated technology to run the place. A calculator and a pen are usually enough for us. It’s a lot of standing on your feet and talking to people all day long. We’ve been here long enough that the kids who used to buy candy now come in to buy groceries for their own families. It’s just how life goes in Pandesara. We take things one day at a time and try to keep the shelves stocked with the basics.
