Shanti Ceramic

You can find us on Puna Kumbhariya Road, right near Himgiri Marble. It’s a busy street and there is always something going on outside. Shanti Ceramic has been here for a while. The shop isn't very big, but we pack a lot of stuff inside. We spend a lot of our time reorganizing the displays because things get moved around by people looking at them. The floor gets dirty pretty fast with everyone walking in from the street, so we are always grabbing the broom. It’s a bit of a squeeze when we get a big delivery. We have to be careful not to chip anything. The light in here isn't the best, but we have some overhead lamps that help. We mostly deal with locals who are fixing up their houses. It’s nice to see the same faces every now and then. Sometimes we sit outside on the bench when it’s quiet and watch the traffic. Puna Kumbhariya Road is always full of cars and bikes. We keep a simple routine here. Open up, check the stock, talk to whoever walks in, and close up when it gets dark. It's a plain way to earn a living, but it suits us. We don't bother with much else besides the ceramics we have on the shelves.
