You can find Sarthi Provision Stores at Mota Varachha, specifically in the Patel Bhag Co 5 area. Our shop is a small provision store where we keep all the basics. We have rows of jars filled with snacks and candies on the front counter. Most of our day is spent unboxing items and putting them onto the shelves. It’s a quiet routine for the most part. We have a few regulars who stop by every single morning for their supplies. The space is tight so we have to use every bit of the walls to hang packets of spices and detergents. It gets a bit hot in the afternoons but we have a small stool behind the counter where we sit when there are no customers. We don't have any computers here. Everything is written down in a ledger. Sometimes the neighbors come in just to talk about the weather or what’s happening in the street. We’ve been in this building for several years and it feels like home. The sign outside is a bit faded from the sun but people still find us. We don't have any big plans to expand or change things. We just like being the local spot where you can grab a few things on your way home. It's a simple business and we like it that way. There is always a lot of dust from the road, but we keep things as clean as possible.
