Sahajanand Cutlery Materials & Gift has been sitting at 3 Varachha Road for a while. It’s a bit of a mix here because we have cutlery and materials alongside the gift items. People come in for all sorts of reasons. Maybe they need something for their kitchen or they are looking for a small present for a friend. Varachha Road is always moving, so there is plenty of noise and traffic outside. We don't mind it. Inside, things are a bit more quiet, though it can get crowded when several people come in at once. We don't have a fancy website or a big marketing plan. We just put things on the shelves and wait for people to stop in. I spend a lot of time cleaning the glass cases and making sure everything is where it should be. Sometimes it feels like we have too much stuff in such a small space, but people usually find what they're looking for if they look hard enough. It's a simple shop. We aren't doing anything groundbreaking, just selling things that people in this part of town need. Most of our customers live right nearby. We know a lot of them by name now. It’s just how things go when you’ve been on the same road for years. We open up in the morning and stay until late. It's just a regular life running a place like this.
