Sagar Mandap Service

Sagar Mandap Service is based out of Katargam. In this part of town, there is always some kind of event or gathering happening, so we stay pretty active. Running a mandap service means we are often out and about, moving poles, fabrics, and chairs. Our home base in Katargam is where we keep all the gear. It’s heavy work and it’s often hot, but it’s what we do. We don't have a fancy office because we spend most of our time on site at different locations. When we are at the shop, we are usually checking the inventory or cleaning the materials after an event. Katargam has a lot of tight streets, so moving the trucks around can be a bit of a challenge sometimes. You get used to the logistics of it after a while. We don't put on airs about the business. It’s about manual labor and making sure things are set up where they need to be. People in the neighborhood know us when they see the trucks loaded up. We’ve handled a lot of different setups over the years. It’s a straightforward service. We show up, put the mandap together, and then take it down when everything is finished. That is the daily routine for us here. We just keep our heads down and do the work. It is not always easy, but we are used to the rhythm of the local events in this area.
