S M Power Products

We are located at 6626/1 in Sachin. S M Power Products is the name on the papers, but mostly people just call us the battery shop. We deal with all kinds of power stuff, mostly for small electronics and some bigger things too. It’s a bit of a walk from the main station, but we have a steady stream of customers. The shelves are heavy with lead and lithium. It’s a bit of a greasy job sometimes, moving things around. The shop floor is concrete and stays cool even when it’s boiling outside. We don’t have a big display or anything like that. Most of our stock is in the back or stacked in the corners. I work here with my brother-in-law. We take turns opening up in the morning. We aren't experts in everything, but we know what works for most household needs. If someone comes in with a weird battery we haven't seen, we try to find it for them. It’s a simple trade. We don't spend money on flyers or ads. People just know we are here. Sometimes we close early if there’s a family thing, but usually, we are here until 8. It’s just a regular local business trying to stay afloat and help out where we can. The clock on the wall is five minutes fast, but we leave it that way so we aren't late for dinner when we finally close up.
