Zishan Battery is out in the Sania Kande Bibwewadi Industrial Estate 8. Being in an industrial estate means things are always a bit gritty and loud. We are at unit number 8. It’s a place for work, not for showing off to people. There are batteries everywhere you look—big ones for trucks, small ones, and some that have been sitting there for a bit too long. The air smells a little bit like metal and old plastic, which is what you expect in Bibwewadi. We spend our days hauling heavy things around and checking connections. It is a tough job on the hands, but it’s what we do. The estate is busy with trucks and other workers moving back and forth all day. We don't have a fancy office with chairs. Most of the time, we are just standing around the workbench. Sania Kande is a bit out of the way for some people, but for those who need power for their machines or vehicles, they know where to find us. It’s just a plain brick and concrete space at number 8. We aren't big on talk or marketing. We just get the batteries sorted and move on to the next one on the list. It is honest work and we have been at it for a long time now in this same spot. The floor is stained but it shows we’ve been busy every single day.
