Riddhi Traders

Our spot is B 3 on Bhatar Road, right across from the Vaibhav Complex in the Pooja Kiran building. It’s a busy part of Surat, and there is always something going on right outside our front door. We spend a lot of our time moving boxes around and checking the stock that comes in every few days. The space is a bit cramped because we try to fit as much as we can inside to keep it safe. It’s usually a bit dusty because of all the traffic on Bhatar Road, so we have to wipe down the counters every morning before we start. We have a small stool behind the main counter where we sit when things are quiet. There’s a tea stall just a few doors down, so we usually have a couple of cups of hot tea throughout the day. People from the neighborhood stop by to see what we have in, and we talk about the weather or how the road construction is going. It isn't a modern showroom with big lights; it’s just a place where we trade goods and keep track of our orders. Sometimes the delivery trucks block the entrance, and we have to go out and ask them to move so customers can get in. It's just a regular part of running a business in this area. We have been at this address for several years and know all the other shopkeepers around here quite well.
