Ramdev Novelty Stores

Ramdev Novelty Stores has been at Kishan Complex on Varachha Road for a good while now. It is just a regular shop where we keep all sorts of small things people need for their daily lives. You know how it is when you need a specific button or a small gift for a kid's birthday party and don't want to go to a big mall. That is basically us. We started out small and stayed that way because we like talking to the people who walk in. Varachha Road is always crowded and noisy, but inside the shop, it’s a bit different. We have shelves full of bangles, hair clips, and school stuff for the kids. Sometimes the light in the back flickers, and we have to give it a tap. It’s not fancy here. We don't have those big computer systems that track everything perfectly. We mostly remember where things are by heart. My nephew helps out on weekends when it gets busy. People come in to chat as much as they do to buy a pen or a notebook. It’s a lot of work keeping things organized because the space is tight. We try to keep things that the local families actually use. If we don’t have something, we usually tell you where else to look. It’s just how things go around here. We’ve seen kids grow up and now they bring their own kids to get stickers or small toys.
