Our shop is on A K Road, right over in Vinayaka Layout at number 26. It’s a small corner spot, really. Mostly we just sell pan and maybe a few other small things people ask for. The shelves are a bit crowded with jars and packets. It’s a lot of folding leaves and getting the mixtures just right. Your hands get stained after a full shift, but that's part of the work. We have a lot of regulars who stop their bikes right outside and wait for their usual. The traffic on A K Road can be a nightmare sometimes, so it gets pretty dusty. We spend a good amount of time dusting off the counter. It's not a big operation. Just a couple of us working here throughout the day. We see the same faces every evening when people are finishing up their work. The light outside flickers a bit in the wind, but it still works. We don't have much space for people to hang around, so they usually just get what they need and go. Sometimes we chat for a minute if it's slow. We try to keep enough stock of everything so we don't run out by Wednesday. It’s just a simple shop in a busy part of the layout. We’ve been at this spot for quite some time, just doing the same thing day in and day out without much fuss. We're usually here from morning until the street lights come on.
