Raj Jewellers & Gifts

Our place is G/11 in the Raj Complex. We are near the Vaishnodevi Mandir and right by the Ayesha Market on Bhatar Road. It’s a lively area to be in. We do a mix of things here, mostly jewelry and then a variety of gifts. It’s a bit unusual to have both, but it works for us. People coming to the Ayesha Market often wander over to see what we have in the window. We have some glass cases for the jewelry and then open shelves for the gift items like statues and vases. The shop isn't very big, so we have to be careful about where we put things. Bhatar Road is always moving, so there is a lot of energy outside. We spend our days helping customers find something special, maybe a ring or a nice gift for a housewarming. We don't have any polished sales pitches. We just tell people what things are made of and how much they cost. Sometimes the shop gets a bit dusty because of the construction nearby, so we are always cleaning. We like being near the mandir because it brings a lot of good people by our door. It’s a local business through and through. We know our regulars by name and we see them often. We don't need any big advertisements. The word of mouth from people in the market is enough for us. It is just a basic shop that we run every day of the week.
