Prince Thermocal Decoration

You can find Prince Thermocal Decoration down in Sayedpura Old Dhor Bazar. We work with white foam and cutters all day long. It makes a bit of a mess with all the tiny white bits flying around the floor. My hands are usually covered in glue or paint. We make things for parties and local functions. It’s a small shop in a busy part of the bazar. The air is always full of the sound of people shouting and motorbikes passing by outside. We don’t have a big team, just myself and a couple of boys who help with the heavy carving. We don't have a catalog. Most people just bring a drawing or tell us what they want and we try to shape it out of the thermocol blocks. Sayedpura Old Dhor Bazar is a crowded place, but we like it here. It feels alive. Sometimes we work on the sidewalk if the pieces are too big for the shop. The sun can be quite strong in the afternoon so we put up a small shade. We’ve been doing this for a long time. It isn't a high-tech job. We just use simple blades and some wire. We don't pretend to be anything we aren't. We are just the people who do the foam work for the neighborhood. It’s a decent way to spend the day. We have an old radio playing some tunes in the corner while we carve.
