We've been at C 311 in the Shree Ballabh Apartment for a good while now. It’s a bit of a climb if you aren't used to it, but Nalasopara West is always busy like that. The room is usually filled with rolls of cloth and different materials we keep stacked up. Sometimes the dust gets a bit much when we're moving things around to find a specific pattern for a customer. It's not a fancy showroom or anything. There’s a ceiling fan that makes a clicking noise on high speed, but it keeps us cool enough while we work. Most days it’s just us checking orders and making sure the fabric is cut right before it goes out. People from around the neighborhood stop by, and sometimes it gets crowded in the small space. We don’t have a big sign outside, just the name on the door really. Dealing with suppliers takes up most of our mornings, especially when the traffic down on the main road is backed up. We try to keep things organized but with so many different types of cotton and polyester, the shelves get messy fast. It is a quiet enough spot once you get inside the building, away from the street noise. We spend a lot of time on the phone or just marking lists. It’s just how we run things here, nothing too complicated. It gets the job done and we know where everything is even if it looks a bit cluttered to someone else.
