Amit Exports

Amit Exports is based out of Surat, specifically in the Someshwar Nagar Society area. Our address is number 84 on the Bhestan Geo Gam Road. This part of Gujarat is always active with trade and moving goods. A lot of our time is spent on the phone or checking containers. The office is right in the middle of a residential-industrial mix, so it feels like a real neighborhood. We have been here at Bhestan for quite a while now. Most of our day involves checking quality and making sure everything is packed up tight for shipping. Because there is always something being loaded or unloaded nearby, it is not a very quiet job. Our small crew knows the routine by heart. There is no marketing department here or anyone to write fancy brochures. The focus is just on the products we send out. Sometimes the weather in Surat makes things a bit slow, especially when it’s really humid, but we keep at it. Shipping forms and samples usually cover the desks. It’s a bit messy but we find what we need. People know us in the society as the guys who are always busy with boxes. We don't pretend to be a massive multinational company. Being a local export house doing our bit every day is enough. It’s steady work and we like being part of the local community here in Someshwar Nagar. Things are kept simple.
