Akash International

You’ll find Akash International over at 6 12 in the Khatodara Indsoc area of Surat. Being in an industrial society means there is always noise and movement around us. Trucks are coming in and out, and there’s always someone hauling something nearby. Our building is pretty basic, just a functional space for us to work. We’ve been here in Gujarat for a long time. The office is mostly filled with desks and storage racks. It’s not the tidiest place in the world, but we know where everything is. We have a few people working here who have been with us since the beginning. We don't bother with corporate jargon or long meetings. We just talk across the room when something needs to be done. The heat in Surat can be quite a lot, so we have a few big fans running all day long. We keep a fridge stocked with cold water for anyone who comes in. It’s a busy environment and we’re usually focused on getting the day's orders out. We don’t do much in the way of advertising. Most of our work comes from people who have known us for years. It’s a practical, hardworking atmosphere. We just try to keep things moving along without too much fuss or drama. It’s what we’ve always done and it works for us every day.
