Advocate

Our office is at Salabatpura A 4. It’s a small place but it works for what we need to do every day. Being an advocate means there is always a lot of reading to catch up on. We have been in this spot for a while and the locals know us well enough. Salabatpura is a busy area and there is always something going on outside the window. We get a lot of walk-ins who just have a quick question about a document or a property matter. It’s not a fancy office with leather chairs or anything like that. We have some desks, some chairs for people to sit while they wait, and plenty of shelves for all the files that seem to grow every year. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we just have to sit and wait or work by the window light. It is just part of being here. We don't make a big fuss about things. We just try to help people figure out their legal headaches so they can go back to their lives. It can be a bit loud with the traffic and the people talking outside, but you get used to it after a few months. Dealing with the courts takes up a lot of the week. We are usually out and about for half the day. When we are back at A 4, we just try to get the typing done and make sure everything is ready for the next day. It is just a normal work life.
