Parth Gift & Novelty

Being located in the Blue Rose Industrial Estate means we see a lot of people passing through every day. Our unit, B 315, is right off the Western Express Highway in Borivali East. It’s a bit of a walk from the main gate but people find us eventually. We deal with gifts and all kinds of novelty items that you don't always see in regular stores. The space is a bit industrial looking because that’s just how this building is. We have boxes piled up in the corners because we get deliveries almost every other day. It’s a bit dusty sometimes with all the movement in Gotalawadi, so we spend a lot of time wiping down the shelves. Working here is mostly about keeping track of what’s in the boxes and making sure the door stays open for whoever wanders in from the highway side. We don't have a big fancy sign or anything, just the name on the door. The traffic outside can be really loud during rush hour but inside it’s mostly just us sorting through stock. Sometimes we help people pick out things for their office parties or for their kids back home. It isn't a glamorous job but it keeps us busy from morning until we close up for the night. We’ve been in this spot for a bit now and know the other shop owners around the estate quite well.
