Parekh Deepak Bhai

I’m located in Mahidharpura, over in the 4 Bungalows area at 6 1342. It’s a busy part of Surat, especially with all the diamond and textile work happening nearby. My name is Deepak Bhai and I’ve been in this specific spot for many years. The building is old and the street outside is always crowded with scooters and people walking. It can be hard to find parking, so I usually just tell people to come by rickshaw if they can. My office is quite small and filled with files and books from over the years. I don’t like throwing things away if they might be useful later. It’s a bit of a maze inside. I usually spend my time talking to people who come in with questions about their business or their paperwork. I don’t use a lot of fancy technology; a pen and a ledger often feel better to me. The neighbors are all people I’ve known for a long time, so we often share news over the low walls. It’s a traditional way of doing things, I suppose. I don't see the need to change just for the sake of looking modern. My work is honest and I take it seriously. Every day is pretty much the same, starting early and finishing when the sun goes down. If you need me, I’m usually here from morning until the evening prayers.
