Nitin Ceramic

Nitin Ceramic is tucked away in the Patel Industrial Estate at Plot No.B-25. We are in the Bambawadi area. It is quite easy to find if you look for the Katargam Community Hall, because we are right opposite that. We are also behind the Sumul Dairy, so you can often smell the milk processing when the wind blows the right way. Vastadevi Road is always humming with activity. Being in an industrial estate means there are always loaders and tempos moving around. It gets pretty loud with all the metal clanging and engines revving. Our plot is basically a large warehouse with a small office area blocked off. We deal with ceramics, so there is a lot of heavy lifting involved. Our backs usually ache by the end of the week. We’ve been at B-25 for years. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we are too busy to get around to it. We just focus on getting the orders ready. It’s a practical setup. No fancy chairs or air conditioning in the main area. We have a couple of ceiling fans that do their best. Most of our day is spent checking inventory and talking to drivers. It’s just how an industrial business works. We don't have any fancy brochures. People just come in, look at the samples, and tell us what they need for their projects.
