Nishant General Store

Nishant General Store is right here in Village Kathor. If you know the Taluka Kamrej area, you probably passed by us near the V D Galiyara High School. We’ve been in this spot for quite a while now. The post office is in Bardoli, but our daily life happens right here on this street. It’s a simple setup we have. Nothing too big or fancy, just shelves filled with things people in the village need every day. You see the students walking by after school and they sometimes pop in for a snack or a pen. The morning starts early for us, usually around the time the first buses go by. We spend a lot of time just moving boxes around or talking to the neighbors who stop in for a quick chat. It can get a bit dusty when the wind picks up, but that’s just how it is in this part of the village. We try to keep things organized, though sometimes the stock piles up in the corners when a new delivery comes in. There’s no big team here, just a few of us making sure everything stays running. We don't do much advertising or anything like that. Most people just know where we are because they’ve lived here as long as we have. It’s a quiet life in Kathor, and we like being part of the routine for the folks living near the school. We just open up, sit behind the counter, and see who the day brings in.
