You can find Dharmanandan Jewellers right at Mahadev Chowk. It is a central spot and everyone around here knows it. We have been operating from this location for quite some time. The chowk is always full of activity. We deal with jewelry and it’s a family-run thing. We don't have a big corporate structure. It’s just us. We open the doors early in the morning. Sometimes we are still here late if a customer needs something. We don't spend much time on the computer or doing fancy things. Most of our work is done face to face across the counter. People from the surrounding villages and the town come here. We know a lot of them by name. The shop is a bit old-fashioned but we like it that way. It feels more comfortable for everyone. We don't have any formal mission or anything like that. We just want to do our job well and make sure people are satisfied with what they buy. There's a lot of trust involved in this business. We've worked hard to keep that trust over the years. If you are near Mahadev Chowk, you'll see us. We are usually busy talking to someone or cleaning the glass cases. It’s a simple life and we are happy with it. We just keep our heads down and focus on the jewelry and our customers.
