Mitra Cement

Mitra Cement is situated in the Adajan Dn area on the 6th Main. We are part of the Jash Laxmi Complex, which is in the 2nd Block, 3rd Stage. If you are familiar with the area, we are just west of Chord Road. Dealing with cement is a heavy and very dusty business. Our shop is full of those big, heavy bags that we have to load and unload all day long. It’s hard on the arms and the back, but that’s the job. The Jash Laxmi Complex is a busy little hub, and there is always some construction going on nearby. We spend a lot of time swept up in white dust from the bags, and the floor never stays clean for more than five minutes. Being near Chord Road means we have a lot of trucks coming in and out to drop off supplies. It’s not a place for sitting around; we are usually moving something or talking to a contractor about how many bags they need for a project. We keep things very basic here. There aren't any fancy brochures or big sales pitches. People just come in, tell us what they need for their building work, and we help them get it loaded up. It is a very practical, noisy, and dusty place to spend the day, but we are used to it. We just focus on keeping the stock levels right so we don't run out.
