Mira General Store

We have been here at Shivam Complex for a while now. Most people know us because we are right near the Puna Bus Stand. It gets busy on this road since it connects Puna to the Bombay Market. We just keep the shelves stocked with what people need every day. Sometimes it's a bit cramped inside when the morning rush hits, but we manage. My family helps out behind the counter. We see the same faces every morning getting their basics before work. The traffic outside can get loud, but that is just how it is in Surat. We don't have anything fancy here, just the usual groceries and household things you'd expect from a corner shop. If we run out of something, we try to get it back in stock by the next day. It’s a simple setup. We open early because that's when the neighborhood starts moving. The building is Ug-6, it's easy to find if you are walking from the station area. We don't spend much time worrying about how the shop looks as long as the items are fresh and the price is fair for everyone who stops by. It’s just a regular place for regular people living around Un. We've seen kids grow up coming here for snacks and now they come in for stuff for their own homes. That is how time goes by here in this little corner of the city. We just keep working and trying to stay stocked up for the people.
