Metro Plastic & Steel

We’ve been here at the corner of Varachha Road and Lambe Hanuman Road for a long time now. It’s a busy spot, mostly because of all the traffic coming through this part of town. When you work with plastic and steel, things can get pretty loud during the day. We spend a lot of time sorting through materials and making sure everything is where it needs to be. Sometimes the trucks have a hard time backing in because the road is so narrow, but we manage. My hands are usually a bit dirty by lunch, that’s just how it goes when you’re moving heavy steel pipes or plastic sheets around all day. We don’t have a fancy office or anything, just the workspace and the desk where we keep the papers. The floor is concrete and it’s seen a lot of wear over the years. Some days it’s very hot, especially when the sun hits the metal, so we keep the fans running all day long. People from the neighborhood stop by to ask for small things or just to say hello while they’re passing through. It’s not a complicated business at all. We just take the orders, find the right plastic or steel pieces, and get them ready for whoever is picking them up. The address 38812 is easy enough to find if you know the landmark, though sometimes new delivery drivers get a bit turned around. It’s just us doing what we do every day.
