Mataji Novelty & Xerox

I started this place at Mataji Novelty & Xerox in Pragati Nagar Complex because it seemed like a good spot here in Piplod. The xerox machine is the main thing people come for every day. It makes a lot of noise when it runs for a long time. We have some novelty items on the shelves too. There are toys, small gifts, and stuff for school kids. The shop isn't very big so things are piled up a bit on the counters. We try to keep it organized but sometimes it gets cluttered when a lot of customers come at once. Piplod is always changing with new buildings coming up nearby. We see a lot of students from the area. They need copies for their projects or some last minute pens. It gets busy in the mornings before school starts. I live not too far away so I walk here most days. The Pragati Nagar building is older now. Sometimes the light in the hallway flickers. We put a wooden bench outside for people to sit while they wait for their documents to finish. It is a quiet street mostly until the evening rush starts. My wife helps out sometimes when she is free. We know most people in the neighborhood by their names. It is nice to have a chat while the machine is working. We don't have a big staff, just us and occasionally a boy to help with small things. It is a steady way to spend the day.
