We are located over in Nanavat 1, and most of our days are spent dealing with metal poles, heavy fabrics, and a lot of rope. If you have ever seen a big wedding tent being put up in the summer heat, you know how much physical work goes into it. We are not sitting in an office much. Usually, we are out at a site or in the warehouse checking that the chairs aren't broken and the carpets are clean enough for another use. It is a lot of heavy lifting and making sure everything is tied down so the wind does not catch the fabric. Sometimes things get hectic when two events happen on the same weekend. We have to move fast and hope the truck does not get stuck in traffic. The name is a bit long, but people mostly just know us for the mandaps we build. We have different colors of cloth and some lighting rigs, though half the time we are just replacing bulbs that broke during transport. It is a family-run kind of thing, so everyone chips in when it gets busy. We do not use fancy software to plan things; we mostly just use a notebook and a lot of phone calls. The warehouse in Nanavat is a bit cramped with all the stacks of folded chairs and rolled-up rugs. We just keep moving from one job to the next, making sure things are set up before the guests arrive.
