Mahavir General Store

You can find Mahavir General Store at 203-204 in Vardhman Apartment. This is in the Udhna area of Surat, right in Asha Nagar. Since we are located inside an apartment complex, most of our customers are our neighbors. We sell everything a household might need, from detergents and floor cleaners to biscuits and tea leaves. It’s a convenient spot for the people living in the building because they don't have to go out on the main road for small things. We have been here since the building was first built. The shop is run by our family, and we spend most of our day here from morning until night. Surat is a city that never really sleeps, and Udhna is always buzzing with activity. We have to keep an eye on the inventory because things like sugar and oil sell out very fast. Sometimes the shop feels a bit small when we get a big shipment of goods, and we have to stack boxes in the corners. We don't have any fancy marketing or big banners. We just rely on the people who live nearby. It is a practical business. We know which brand of cooking oil Mrs. Shah likes and which snacks the kids from the third floor always ask for. It’s nice to be part of the community like this. We just keep doing our work every day without much fuss or planning for anything bigger than this.
