Lloyd Insulations I Ltd is over at E 102 Pragatinagar in the Piplod area of Surat. Piplod has changed a lot over the years, becoming much more developed, but our little corner feels pretty grounded. We operate out of a space that is basically just a few rooms filled with desks and files. It’s where we handle all the coordination for our insulation projects. Surat is a city that never really stops, and we try to keep up with that pace. Most of our work involves a lot of back-and-forth communication with sites and suppliers. We don't have a big marketing budget or anything like that, so we mostly just rely on the work we’ve done before to keep things going. The office can get a bit chaotic when several things are happening at once, but we usually manage to keep it under control. We drink a lot of water to deal with the Surat heat, and we have a small balcony where some of us go to get a bit of air. It’s not a high-tech "smart" office; it’s just a place where we come to work every morning at nine. We don't talk about being the leaders in the industry or anything like that. We just look at what needs to be done today and we do it. The people working here have been around for a while, so we all know how the business runs.
