Lalkrupa Caterers

Lalkrupa Caterers has been around for a good while now. We are located right at A 4 Divya Kunj Society, which is just opposite Navyug College in the Randher area of Olpad. It is a busy spot. Most mornings start way before the sun is even up. We have these huge steel vats that need scrubbing and the vegetable guy usually shows up late, which makes everyone a bit grumpy. The kitchen gets really hot once the burners are going. Sometimes the smoke fills the whole back area and we have to open all the windows, even when it is raining outside. My uncle started this because he liked to feed people, and it just kind of turned into a job for all of us. We don't have any fancy office or anything like that. Just the main cooking area and some storage for the tents and chairs. It is a lot of heavy lifting. Loading the trucks takes forever because we have to navigate the narrow street near the college. Students are always walking by, and sometimes they peek in to see what we are making. We mostly do local stuff around Surat. Some days are slow and we just sit around cleaning silver, but during wedding season, nobody gets more than four hours of sleep. It is just how it goes here. We try to keep things simple and do the work as it comes in.
