Lalai Gift Article

We have been here at Abhishek Hospital in Rander for a long while now. It is just a small shop, Lalai Gift Article, and we don’t have much space. People come in mostly when they are visiting family or friends in the hospital next door. Sometimes they need a quick card or maybe a small toy to cheer up a kid who isn't feeling well. It gets real busy in the mornings when the visiting hours start and the hallway fills up. We try to keep the shelves organized but boxes tend to pile up in the corners when a new delivery arrives. That is just how it is when you are running the place yourself. My cousin comes by to help me out on the weekends if he is not working his other job. We don’t have fancy display lights or any of that. Just regular metal shelves with things we think people in Rander might want to buy. Sometimes a patient’s relative comes in just to talk for a bit because they are having a hard day. We listen and maybe they pick out a small keychain or a photo frame while they are here. Rander is a loud area so there is always noise from the scooters outside. We keep the door propped open to let some air in, though it gets quite dusty. It is hard work keeping track of everything in such a small spot. We just keep doing our thing every day.
