Kumar Novelty

Kumar Novelty is located over in Trikamnagar 2, right across the street from the Radhakrishna Mandir here in Surat. It is a lively area to be in, mostly because of the temple. You hear the bells ringing at different times of the day, which kind of keeps us on a schedule without even trying. The street can get pretty packed during festivals or special prayer days, and we just watch the crowds go by from the front of the shop. It is a dusty road sometimes, but that is Surat for you. We have been in this spot for a bit, and people in the neighborhood know where to find us. We don't do anything too complicated. We open up early, get the lights on, and start the day. Sometimes we sit on the stool outside when it is quiet and just talk to whoever is passing. The shop itself is just a regular room filled with stuff we think people might need. It is not some high-end showroom with glass walls. It is just a local shop. We try to keep things organized, but on busy days, it can get a little messy. That is just part of the job. Most of our customers are locals who live nearby or people visiting the Mandir. We are just a part of the daily rhythm of Trikamnagar. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us making sure everything is in place for when someone stops by.
